 I found love the minute I set my eyes on you

I nurtured it with care and hope

I watered it with tears and faith

I pruned it with all humility and respect

I endured insults and humiliations from you and your insolent friends

Just to win your heart

I said ‘sorry’ severally till it lost its meaning, even when you were at fault

I stayed awake most nights wondering if it is a crime to love you

I cried myself to sleep most of the night till I lost count

I painted the picture of your face on the tablet of my heart

I tattooed your name on my chest

I worked three jobs so that I can afford your demands and that of your materialistic friends.

Just to win your love.

I am still heartbroken that after all, you left

My Feelings.....

My feelings are honest

My thoughts are pure

The feelings may not be mutual

But,what I feel we both can share.

For this....

He took me from the miry clay and set my feet upon the rock

He anointed my head with and my cup runneth over

For this I will praise his name.

He has made lines to fall for me in pleasant places

He has made my path a shining light

For this I will praise his name.

He delivered me from the Fowler's snare

He prepared a table for me in the presence of my foes.

For this I will praise his name.

The Exchange.

Bang! Bang!! Bang!!! Who is in this house? Open this door!

This was the unusual noise that woke the family of five. The family live in a room apartment (popularly called face me, I face you).

Before the man of the house could respond, the door was kicked in leaving splinters of wood flying in every direction.

A gang of armed robbers marched into the apartment. The wife huddled in a corner with her three kids and the man of the house standing like a hen protecting her chicks.

"Where is the money?" asked the leader of the gang.

"There's no money Sir" responded the man of the house.

A resounding slap was the response he got from the leader and the interrogation continued.

Suddenly gunshots were heard from a distance, which was followed by shouts from other gang members outside "Ndi eke! Ndi eke!" (meaning police! Police!).

The robbers quickly left the room and in their haste to get away they carried a bag of old clothes that was by the door of the room, leaving behind their bag of stolen money in the room.

I have knowledge of the sun and its voice

I have knowledge of all things in nature and their places

I have the knowledge of the dreams Angels,

I have the knowledge of the heartbeat of the stars

I even have the knowledge of the song of flowers

But all my knowledge failed me the day I first saw you.

IN DILEMMA!!!

My thoughts are floating.

 In a deep and sweet confusion

Lust, Infatuation and love

Their lines of separation are all blurred

And there could possibly be a blend of all three

I can’t even tell if I own my head any more

 My dreams? I have sold them all to you

All I desire now is to spend the rest of my existence

Under the shelter of your eyes

Giving you my heart, my soul, my body, my life and my love.

The winter is past and the rains are over and gone.

The flowers appear on the earth

The time of singing is come

The voice of Angels is heard in our land.

Beloved ones are praised and described

How amazing are the thought s I have of you.

It takes me into a world where only saints dwell

Your beauty typify the Garden of Eden in awesome reality

Your smile makes the sun a mere candle light

Your frame and stature can only be described as outstanding

Your eyes are so charming that I compare them with that of the dove

You are so lovely there is no blemish on you

Honey, know it that many waters can’t quench love.

GOD’S INTENSION IN A VISION!!!

I had a vision.

A gentle dove stood upon a tree

Singing a sweet heavenly tune

That moment the heavens opened up and clouds divided.

I could see the day God created you.

Angels and saints gathered around a sanctuary.

You stood with God shinning softly like a little goddess.

God gave you everything I ever dreamt of in a woman

With my name carved by Angels on the sanctuary

And an inscription saying

“Today God remembers you and Angels smile, a queen by all standards has been created just because of you”.

It is too amazing that God had me in mind when he created you

Your beauty is a million steps beyond perfection.

U NEED TO KNOW !!!

 Rains come down and drain this filth from my heart.

I have seen the purest of love and I want to race to embrace it.

You look at me with eyes that tell the story of creation.

Your smile takes me so high that I can see the whole of creation.

Your beauty is beyond comparison.

Beats of heavenly drum sounds in my head.

The thought of you carry me into a world of music played by Angels.

And my soul sings a flawless and endless song with your name on every line of each verse.

May be I am going crazy.

Hot or cold I can’t differentiate I feel like I am on fire but I’m not.

And I have totally lost control of my thoughts.

But the power or promises, sealed by angels have made me worthy. So right now, with the humblest portion and a degree of truth only found in heaven I say the following:

MY STORY

We never chose a song for ourselves, but today as I pick up this pen to write to your honour. The greatest choir of Angels is singing a song for us. I write with eyes soaked with tears of LOVE as I remember the day we met.
You appeared like a star dropping from the night sky. I couldn’t believe my luck. I thought finally heaven has smiled on me.
I knew the secret of the unknown.
I knew things beyond the knowledge of man
But I never knew beauty till I saw you.
I was speechless in expressing myself. So I decided to learn the language of your heart by getting close to you.
Today I can speak all the tongues your heart, your soul and your body. And in my own tongue I pledge to love you for all eternity.
Eternity may be difficult, but your simple smile has simplified it. And one day I am going to write the story of my life.
I will tell about the first time you touched me and the day I held you close.
I will tell about the secret fights we had and the tears Joy that trickled down our cheeks when we made up.
I will tell about every moment and every good thing you said to me and especially the day you first “I LOVE YOU”. But before I will finish my story, I will ask you to be my wife so that the story of my life can start and end with you.

I saw a world where the sparkling dew falls gently on a green lawn.
The birds sing clear songs on the brightly coloured flowering trees.
The brightly coloured Butterflies dance to the rhythm of the whistling breeze upon the lilies.
I said to myself “how could anything be more beautiful than what I see?”
But you came along with a smile that covered the skies.
And eyes so bright that it shames the sun.
